How Much More Meat, Cheese, And Sugar Are We Consuming?

Did You Know...

According to Dr. Neal Barnard, founder of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine (PCRM) and author of several books on health/nutrition:
"The average American eats 75 pounds more meat each year than we did a century ago
and 30 pounds more cheese."

From the 2011 documentary "Forks Over Knives":
In 1913, the average American consumed 40 pounds of processed sugar annually. In 1999, that amount increased to 147 pounds per person!
